I want to use my 7220BFP for a simple signal recovery of an optical signal from a photodiode that is chopped with an optical chopper, but I can't even figure out how to communicate with the lock-in amp using my computer. The instruction book has a whole chapter on remote instruction, but fails to explain how to connect in the first place. And the Installation talks about a 3.5 inch floppy disk, which I definetly never got, and my computer doesn't even have one of those ancient drives anywhere. I also don't have any twinax cables for reading the output on ch1, which I think is where I'm suppose to read the amplified signal from... I have the Acquire software, but have no idea what it's for, since I just want to amplify my signal to look at it on an oscilloscope. Why doesn't this machine come with a QuickStart guide and a basic explination!!?!
