Hello, I'm using a 7220 lock-in to measure current ant voltage alternatively. Before each measurement, I send an "AS" command to perform an auto-range and then a "MAG." command to get the value. But between these two commands, I have to add a stop in order to be sure that the "AS" is fully completed before sending the "MAG." command. It works but it is not satisfactory because if the stop (a for - next command in fact) is to long, it takes time for nothing and if it is too short, the system is not stabilized for the measurement. Could you please explain me the way to program (in BASIC language) a test which tells me if the "AS" is fully performed or not ? I hope you understand my (french) english and my questions (if not feel free to ask me further informations). I thank you in advance for your help. Have a nice week-end, Lionel.
