Instrument Firmware Upgrades
From time to time we make modifications and improvements to the
operating firmware of our instruments, and in the case of the most recent
products users can update the firmware very easily simply by connecting
the unit to a PC via an RS232 cable (or, in the case of a models 7124 or
7270, a USB cable) and running an update program. We are therefore making
these latest revisions available to you free of charge so that you can
keep your instrument up to date with the latest features and revisions.
Our Windows Update Wizard program is suitable for all units other than
the model 7220BFP and we are pleased to be able to offer this and the
relevant firmware by direct download from this site. Check which firmware
revision level is installed in your instrument by following the directions
in the user's manual, and if you have an earlier revision than that
indicated below click on the relevant model number to access the firmware
downloads page.
If you want to use direct USB communications to update a model 7124 or
model 7270 then the PC must have a USB driver loaded - click
here to download it
