Looking for a lock-in? Look no further than our model 7270

The model 7270 sets a new standard for general-purpose DSP lock-in amplifiers. We've taken advantage of the developments in technology since the first DSP lock-in amplifiers were introduced in the early 1990’s to update the core design, but made sure that we’ve included all the best features of our model 7265 and 7280 instruments. What’s more, the new architecture has allowed us to offer even better specifications in an instrument that is physically much more compact than older designs. The result is a lock-in amplifier of outstanding performance that is easy to use and suitable for all measurements over a frequency range extending from 1 mHz to 250 kHz.

New Technical Note TN1008 "Digital Noise at Lock-in Amplifier Input Connectors"

Technical Note TN1008, just published,  describes the results of a series of measurements of the spectral power density and total power that is fed back into a sample connected to a lock-in amplifier input. The experiments were done using our unique Model 7124 Precision Lock-in Amplifier and three other leading DSP and analog lock-in amplifiers, and demonstrate the clear superiority of the model 7124 in this respect.

Model 3830 MultiplexerNew Vista-compatible Software for Model 3830 Multiplexer

The Model 3830 Multiplexer (mux) makes it easy to implement computer-selected interconnections between different instruments. Six floating BNC connectors can be used as either inputs or outputs and are coupled to one of two common buses via DPST reed-relay switches.

An updated software package for this unit is now available, including an ActiveX control and examples of how to use it in Excel, VisualBasic, VBScript, HTML and LabVIEW. Click here for more details

Model 3820 Universal CounterNew Vista-compatible Software for Model 3820 Universal Counter

The Model 3820 Universal Counter allows up to eight measurement outputs to be generated as a function of time, these being:

  • Frequency
  • Average period
  • Average duty cycle
  • Average pulse-high time
  • Average pulse-low time
  • Event counts
  • Logic level (input voltage above/below threshold)
  • Time

We are pleased to announce the release of a completely updated software suite for this instrument, including applications software and an ActiveX control. The pack even includes examples of how to use the control in Excel, VisualBasic, VBScript, HTML and LabVIEW. Click here for more details
